I love the light, I love how it changes, how it illuminates, how it shadows, how it reflects things you did not see before. Join me in my journey as I discover new images and reflect the light as shown to me through my lenses.
A journey begins with a single step…..or so they say. I have been traveling along this road for a very long time, if I think back. It started way back in my twenties, when my grandmother gave me a Pentax K1000 film camera as a gift. I have always been interested in photography but have not had the means to pursue my passion. Film became too expensive and I longed for a digital camera. That all changed when my husband signed me up for an online photography course, a year or two back. It was one of the best things to happen to me apart from my treasured, wonderful family. I found I understood the settings and concepts, and that was it, I was hooked. A friends son got me the exact digital camera I wanted at Grace Photos in New York City, and things were never the same again. I hope to travel as my camera has done, to see the world, its people, its beauty, how the light falls in the different places.
Equipment
I use a Canon 200D and a Canon 70D with various lenses. EF-S 18-135mm IS STM F3.5-5.6 is my walkabout lens. I also get great results from my EF-S 24mm STM F2.8 and my EF 50mm STM F1.8 prime lenses.
